This Community of Practice will delve into approaches of enhancing tenure security for women and men in different tenure systems. It will consider pathways of achieving equality of outcomes form ongoing land reforms particularly how best to achieve gender responsive policies and laws on land. It will also seek to push the boundaries farther into proposing pathways for practice change in achieving gender responsive land administration and management systems.

This Community of Practice, given the evolving context of land administration, will focus on the use of technologies and the emerging approaches to improve surveying standards in the IGAD region. Fit for purpose approaches will be at the centre of these discussions.

This Community of Practice will seek to devise pathways to inclusive land use planning that will enable sustainability and livability of cities as well as rural land use.

This Community of Practice will focus on finding pathways to resolve the land valuation and taxation impasse in the IGAD countries.

This Community of Practice will focus on pathways to improving the land administration systems in the IGAD Member States; especially as far as protection and documentation of rights over customary land is concerned.
